For a while now, I have wondered if we would ever see the trees change color or the temperatures drop. I lived here before, years ago, but apparently I’d forgotten just how long summer lasts in Dallas. Life in New England spoiled me with its bounty of fall foliage, and I find that I really miss it now, not to mention life by the sea. Thankfully, I stay much too busy to dwell on things I miss since I’m too focused on what is yet to come.
